About Alex Brett
Since 1995, I've been serving corporate clients through Dragonfly Communications. I have a B.Sc. (Hons) from Dalhousie University and my varied background includes work as a freelance radio and print reporter, book editor, fisheries research technician and park naturalist.
My 8 years at the National Research Council of Canada, working first in media relations, then as a senior writer and editor, also gave me a strong foundation in government communications, procedures and protocols. In addition, I have published two crime novels set in the world of science.
I hold enhanced-reliability security clearance for Government of Canada clients and am fluent in both English and French (CCC).
If you'd like my official CV please e-mail me and I'll be happy to forward one to you. Samples of my work can be found on the Portfolio page and What's New.
